The short version
Apeology is designed to be anonymous. You do not create an account, log in, or provide your name or email address to use the app. apeNmachine does not collect, store, or sell your quiz answers or personal profile.
The app is free and supported by one advertisement served through Google AdMob between the two quiz sections. Google’s advertising SDK processes limited device and advertising information as described below.

Information and device access
Information you provide
No personal information is required. You may optionally type a display name when creating an Ape ID card. That name is used only to render the card on your device. It is not transmitted to apeNmachine or a third party and is not retained after you leave the screen.
Quiz answers and results
Your quiz answers and result exist only in the app’s memory and are cleared when the app closes. Apeology has no apeNmachine account system or first-party backend.
Photo-library permission
Photo-library access is requested only when you choose to save an Ape ID image. The image is saved locally. Apeology does not use your camera or read your existing photos.
Information apeNmachine does not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, camera images, biometric data, health information, or browsing history through Apeology. The production app contains no first-party analytics or crash-reporting service.

Advertising data
Apeology shows one Google AdMob interstitial advertisement between the two parts of the quiz. To serve, secure, and measure advertisements, Google’s SDK may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and advertisement-interaction data.
Apeology requests non-personalized advertisements by default. Google may use the information for advertisement delivery, aggregate reporting, frequency limits, and fraud prevention. This information is processed by Google rather than stored by apeNmachine.

Consent, rights, and retention
Advertising consent
Where required, including in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents consent choices before advertising is served. Available in-app controls can be used to manage that choice later.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to object to certain processing. Because apeNmachine holds no account, quiz, or profile data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Advertising information is controlled through the consent interface and Google’s tools.
Retention
apeNmachine retains no quiz or profile data. Advertising information is handled by Google under its retention practices.
Children
Apeology is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Apeology makes no first-party network requests. Advertising requests use encrypted HTTPS connections through Google’s SDK. No personal profile or quiz history is stored by the app.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the app, advertising configuration, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
